Child Protection Policy
Our Primary Responsibility is to Protect Children from All Forms of Abuse and Harmful Situations and to Respect Their Rights. Ceylan Splend'or Uludağ considers the Child Protection Policy as a reflection of the value we place on children, aiming to protect them from any abuse or sexual abuse that may arise from all activities within the hotel premises, as well as from all internal and external participants involved in these activities. Recognizing children as individuals, respecting their rights, and protecting them from all forms of psychological, physical, commercial, and other exploitation is our primary responsibility. Our policy applies to Hotel Management, our employees, guests, visitors, and anyone entering the hotel premises for any reason. We acknowledge that fulfilling our responsibilities towards children is only possible with conscious, trained, and sensitive staff, and we provide training to our employees on this matter. We approach children with respect and care and take all necessary measures to ensure they are not negatively affected by any situation or behavior. Child Protection Principles • We inform all our employees and all guests who come to our hotel for any reason about our Child Protection Policy. • Children are not given any treats within the hotel or restaurant without the permission of their parents. • During interactions with children, any physical contact must avoid the use of inappropriate force such as pushing or hitting, which is contrary to our cultural behavior. • Any suspicious behavior toward children, perceived as child abuse, by any of our employees, guests, visitors, or suppliers must be immediately reported to hotel management. • The working age complies with legislation; we do not employ child labor. We only have interns from schools suitable for our operations. • We do not allow child labor in our hotel, and we expect the same sensitivity from all our business partners. • We provide environments and opportunities within the hotel that contribute to children's development, where they can freely express their thoughts, desires, and feelings, and feel safe and comfortable. • We train our employees on preventing and detecting child abuse. • We ensure that children participating in activities are under adult supervision. • When witnessing suspicious actions involving children, we first inform hotel management and, if necessary, seek assistance from official authorities.
